The situation at the Río Piedras campus of the University of Puerto Rico turned ugly on Monday afternoon as University Dr. Ana Guadalupe was attacked by striking students after a confrontation turned into a violent altercation.
The following videos present how the scene unfolded. Throughout the video you will hear students yelling “¡Renuncia!” (Resign!) in Spanish
At the end of the second video, you will notice that some students unsuccessfully try to stop the vehicle that was driving Guadalupe away from the campus.
