The Coors beer company has developed an ad in the Puerto Rican neighborhoods of the Bronx asking for everyone to EMBORÍCUATE (become Puerto Rican). Neighbors and Bronx residents are offended by the play on words that connect this add to EMBORRÁCHATE (get drunk). Last time we checked, Puerto Ricans do more than drink. Let Coors know that they this ad is offensive and should be taken down before the start of the Puerto Rican Day Parade.

Mira mano, so seas tan zángano.. Eso no es un insulto. Por favor!!! Emboricuate quiere decir hazte boricua. Lo que pasa es que tu parece ser que eres un acomplejado. Get a life!!!!!
Wow, gracias por esas palabras de respeto.
Wow…Puerto Ricans cannot be so sensitive. This is, honestly, huele bicheria at its finest, and Puerto Ricans bitching about nothing just for the sake of being heard. Get over yourselves, and quit the sensitive act. And Coors Brewing Co., please send me ten or twelve of those Emboricuate posters to my house, I think they’re awesome, and should be taken as a great representation of the Puerto Rican people…read the poster, Emboricuate means to become Puerto Rican, and celebrate the history and culture of the Puerto Rican people.
Julio (nice name), you have your opinions, other people have theirs. Thanks for the comment.
