Al Jezeera, one of the world’s fastest-growing media outlets, produced a 24-minute video about the crisis in Puerto Rico, a topic that has been dear to our heart this year.
So, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, FOX: when do we start seeing American media outlets covering Puerto Rico?

Al Jazeera has impressed me with its coverage of news outside the Arab world that the U.S. media routinely ignores. Seem the American media is more concerned with Balloon Boy stories and the latest White Damsel in Distress than any journalism involving minorities — except when it comes to crime and poverty stories.
I was impressed. It was REAL reporting!!!! Fancy that. It is so old school, it is new school!
De acuerdo Julito. Al Jazeera’s coverage of the situation in Puerto Rico is far superior to the occasional semi-coverage by the corporate US mainstream. I am not the only to have said we wish that Al Jazeera had been around during the Vieques crisis, where mainstream media often mis-reported what was going on. It was appalling and pathetic.
Hey, Rick! I thought the reporter was excellent with McClintock. Ooops!!!!
