The story of FRANKY BENÍTEZ takes place in many places: Boston, Cambridge, the Bronx, Italy, Madrid, Barcelona, Sugarland. But the one anchor of it all is where Franky was born: the island of Puerto Rico, a paradoxical “island victim” colony of the United States. On this page I have posted my coverage of the current political topics on the island that interest me and many other Puerto Ricans who just want their beloved homeland to free itself from colonial shackles and decide its destiny: no matter the outcome.
