So, after months of hard work, the folks at @Latism have accomplished social media history. A grass-roots social media conference for influential Latinos organized by influential Latinos is live today in NYC. Although we were unable to attend due to other commitments, we are there in spirit, sending out amor y apoyo (love and support). I remember the meeting I had with the awesome @LouisPagan, when he told me in June that he was going to get this going. I told him, “That is a no-brainer.” Although planning and organizing can be hard work and I’m sure they had several challenges along the way, it is clear that the support for this unique and authentic conference was always there. To all the people who put in the time to make LATISM happen, ¡salud! You guys rock. Enjoy the moment, tweet about it all day so it can trend and report back to your gente.
¡Viva Latism! ¡Viva Viernes!
