Here Come the Latino Rebels
February 8, 2011 by Julito Varela
We love the Daily Show. And we are proud to be Latino. Since it seems that people have strong feelings about issues and comedy (hello, TOP GEAR), a new online venture is here. We welcome the Latino Rebels to the mix.
This little band of Latino social media influentials will share content that will be edgy, funny (yes, REAL intelligent humor) and topical. We will approach U.S. Latino issues that are important and use social media to bring them to the mainstream. We will combat hate with humor and (hopefully) wit. The recent comments we have been receiving on this blog just convinced us that yes, humor is a great way to communicate issues. So, yes, Jeremy Clarkson, we are going to have fun and tell some jokes.
Right now the Rebels are on Twitter and Facebook. In the next day or two, we will be launching the main LatinoRebels.com site.
¡VIVAN LOS REBELS!
