Houghton Mifflin Harcourt on ABC’s SHARK TANK
March 20, 2011 by Julito Varela
My company, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH), had a unique opportunity to appear on ABC’s SHARK TANK on March 20. I was one of the lucky HMH employees to appear on the show, as a group of us (no, we are NOT the HMH Board as the show’s segment suggests) listened to a presentation about Classroom Jams, a series of songs created by a Chicago Public School teacher to bring the world of Shakespeare to life.
For those who haven’t seen the segment, here it is. See if you can find me.
Way to go, bro! You looked great in the striped shirt. Very dapper.
Hope the project works out. Please keep us posted.
Gracias, bro!
Who knew HMH was such an easy touch? I shoulda met with the board!
Hal
The one guy in that scene looks just like Richard Hatch from Survivor and The Apprentice. I’ve looked everywhere to find out if it is him. Can you help?
Not him
Such a horrible product, I don’t even know why they invested in this. What student or teacher would take the time in class to play the music. Students would just fall asleep if you played it in class. What would motivate students to listen to it in their own free time
Your songs suck bro. Why would anyone want to learn from that.
