My brother, Fernando Varela, whose career is beginning to soar and will be singing live in Canada later week in a return engagement, recently sang a bilingual version of Coldplay’s YELLOW in front of a live audience. The song, which I translated into Spanish with Fernando, was dedicated to our two-year-old cousin, who died on April 4 in an accident in Puerto Rico.

Our little angel, look how he shines for you

Look at the stars, see how they shine for you. This message of pure love is one we would love to share with everyone out there!

Peace to you all,

Julio and Fernando

Fernando Varela Sings a Bilingual Version of Coldplay’s Yellow Live in Concert

And all the things you do

Con todo que yo ví
And it was all yellow

Tu piel y huesos son
Tan bellos, hermosos de sudor
Sabes que, que si te quiero yo
que si te quiero yo
Nadé el mar
Salté a verte ya
Y todo que harás,
Cause you were all yellow
La recta va
A ti te llegará
Pa’ todo que harás
Cause you were all yellow
Tu piel
Tu piel y huesos son
Tan bellos, hermosos de sudor
Sabes que, que sangraré por ti
que sangraré por ti
It’s true, look how they shine for you
look how they shine for you
look how they shine for you
pa’ ti te brillarán
pa’ ti te brillarán
pa’ ti te (and) brillan
Look at the stars, look how they shine for you, and all the things you do
